7. Whether we sell or share personal information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use this website for targeted advertising based on your activity on other sites or apps.

No website, database, or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hardware failure, or other events will never occur. Please use a personal email address you control when you apply, and do not include Social Security numbers, bank details, or other highly sensitive identifiers in a resume or application unless we specifically ask for them at a later hiring stage.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have the right to:

To make a request, email hello@kornermart.com or careers@kornermart.com for applicant records. Please tell us which right you want to exercise and enough information for us to find your records (such as the name and email used on an application). We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows it; we may still need to verify the agent’s authority and your identity.

We will not deny goods or services, charge a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right, except as the law permits. If we deny a request, we will explain the reason and how to appeal by emailing us and writing “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.

California residents: if KornerMart LLC is a “business” covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act, the notice at collection above describes the categories collected, the purposes, whether we sell or share, and the retention criteria. Collection, use, sharing, and retention are limited to what is reasonably necessary and proportionate for those purposes. We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

11. Children

This website is intended for a general audience and for job applicants who are legally eligible to work. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Employment of anyone under 18 is subject to verification of minimum legal age. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information to us, contact hello@kornermart.com and we will delete it.

12. International visitors

KornerMart LLC operates in Utah in the United States. This website is directed to people in the United States. If you visit or apply from the EU, UK, Canada, or elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection rules than your home country. We process that information to respond to your request or application, to operate the website, and to meet our legal obligations. If you do not want your information transferred to the United States, please do not submit the application form.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top shows when it was last revised. If we make a material change — for example, if we start selling personal information, using it for targeted advertising, or collecting new sensitive categories — we will post the updated Policy on this page and, where required, provide additional notice (such as a notice on the website or an email if we have your address for that purpose). Continued use of the website after the effective date means the updated Policy applies to information collected after that date.

Our Terms & Conditions govern use of this website. This Privacy Policy governs how we handle personal information.

This Policy describes KornerMart LLC’s current practices. It is not legal advice. Have a qualified privacy attorney review it — especially because this site collects employment, criminal-history, and disability-related information from job applicants. If our written promises ever differ from what we actually do, the actual practice must be corrected or this Policy must be updated.
